Terms of Service

These Terms govern PartsQuest, LLC's hard-to-find automotive-part sourcing and comparison service for professional repair shops in the United States purchasing for business use. PartsQuest is not a marketplace, ordering service, delivery service, warranty advocate, or fitment authority.

Effective: September 2, 2026

Service Boundary

For an accepted request, PartsQuest returns a documented source trail, comparison, clarification request, exhausted trail, or explicit operational exception. The shop confirms fitment, condition, price, tax, shipping, warranty, returns, supplier terms, timing, and ordering directly with the supplier. PartsQuest does not buy, pay for, reserve, ship, install, guarantee fitment, guarantee supplier acceptance, guarantee that a supplier answers or that a call completes, or guarantee a successful find. If no reviewed supplier or dealer parts counter covers the vehicle and area and the shop has provided no supplier of its own, the search cannot proceed and its search allowance is restored.

Plans, Searches, And Capacity

Reasonable Use

Each PartsQuest plan is based on monthly sourcing-ticket volume, not a guarantee of a fixed number of supplier calls, successful finds, same-day results, or unlimited support. PartsQuest may reject, pause, stop, or require a narrower scope for unusually broad, repetitive, incomplete, abusive, high-risk, or operationally impractical requests.

Operating Window And Support

Accepted tickets are worked by PartsQuest's automated sourcing system, including AI-assisted phone calls to supplier and dealer parts departments, without a human operator on each ticket. Calls are placed during the called business's local business hours. Support requests are handled through the in-app support form and support@partsquest.org during the support window, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, excluding U.S. federal holidays. PartsQuest targets acknowledgment of support requests within one business day. It also targets a result, clarification request, exhausted trail, or explicit operational exception within one business day after complete required information is available. A business day means one support-window day. These are targets, not service-level agreements or guarantees. A support request received outside the window is treated as received at 8:00 a.m. Pacific on the next business day, and its one-business-day target ends at 5:00 p.m. Pacific that day.

No Guarantees

PartsQuest does not guarantee that a part will be found. PartsQuest also does not guarantee inventory, price, fitment, delivery time, supplier acceptance, warranty, return eligibility, or that a supplier option will still be valid when the shop contacts the supplier.

Billing, Cancellation, And Refunds

Your subscription renews monthly until canceled. You may cancel in Stripe's Billing Portal or by emailing support@partsquest.org. A support cancellation request received before the next renewal stops the next charge, even if PartsQuest processes it later; service continues through the current paid period and cancellation takes effect at period end. Current-period charges are nonrefundable once that period begins, except for duplicate or erroneous charges or where required by law. Failed or unpaid billing pauses new sourcing work until resolved.

Taxes

PartsQuest sells to business purchasers in the United States. All plan prices are tax-exclusive. Where PartsQuest is required to collect sales or use tax for a shop's billing address, that tax is added at checkout or on the invoice. Where it is not, the shop remains responsible for any use tax its own jurisdiction imposes on the purchase.

Text Notification Terms

Program name: PartsQuest ticket notifications. A shop user may opt in through either of two unchecked, per-recipient controls: an authenticated shop owner or admin may enter a mobile number in shop Settings and separately confirm that recipient's consent for shop ticket notifications, or a person submitting the public PartsQuest request form may enter a mobile number and separately check the optional text-consent box for that request. Texts may include PartsQuest ticket status, source results, availability results, and notification settings. Message frequency varies by ticket activity and account use. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not cancel a PartsQuest account or subscription, and ticket status may still be available in the PartsQuest app or by other approved support channels. Public-request consent is request-specific and does not enable shop-wide texting; authenticated Settings consent applies only to the separately confirmed recipient and the saved shop notification trigger. Each new recipient requires separate consent, and an opted-out number cannot be re-enabled in Settings. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of submitting a PartsQuest request.

Calls, AI, And Recording

PartsQuest places automated, AI-assisted phone calls to supplier and dealer parts departments to work accepted tickets. The calling agent identifies itself as PartsQuest, the shop's AI-assisted parts sourcing tool, when asked who is calling or whether the call is automated. Calls are placed during the called business's local business hours and are limited per destination per day. PartsQuest does not use automated voice calls for sales outreach and honors supplier or dealer opt-outs and do-not-call requests. Supplier and dealer calls are not audio-recorded. PartsQuest generates and retains machine transcripts, summaries, and structured results of those calls as described in the Privacy Policy.

AI-assisted voice or phone-system use may be restricted, paused, or changed based on law, carrier rules, supplier opt-outs, provider performance, disclosure requirements, consent requirements, or PartsQuest quality controls. By accepting these terms and submitting a ticket, the shop authorizes those calls on its behalf.

Account Access And Software Use

PartsQuest may provide a dashboard, request forms, result packets, supplier cards, history, billing views, and related software features. It grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the shop's internal operations while the account is in good standing, and may change, suspend, or discontinue features for security, reliability, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or service improvement.

Recurring-Charge Authorization

By accepting the checkout disclosure, you authorize PartsQuest, LLC to charge the displayed monthly price for the plan you select each month until you cancel through the Billing Portal or by emailing support@partsquest.org. A cancellation request received before renewal stops the next charge and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Current-period charges are nonrefundable except duplicate or erroneous charges or where required by law. You agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Tools And Infrastructure Changes

PartsQuest depends on third-party services for hosting, databases, payments, messaging, phone systems, AI tools, data sources, and supplier or dealer communications. Those systems, pricing, availability, access rules, and legal requirements can change. PartsQuest may adjust workflows, providers, features, supported call methods, or service availability in response. PartsQuest is not responsible for shop losses, missed opportunities, customer consequences, or third-party cost changes caused by supplier decisions, carrier rules, AI/tool changes, phone provider changes, payment-provider changes, data-provider changes, or legal/compliance restrictions outside PartsQuest's direct control.

Disclaimers And Liability Limits

PartsQuest provides the service and result packets as a sourcing aid for professional repair shops. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the service is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or error-free results. PartsQuest is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, lost-profit, lost-revenue, lost-customer, repair-delay, vehicle-downtime, or substitute-procurement damages. To the maximum extent allowed by law, PartsQuest's total liability for a claim is limited to the amount the shop paid PartsQuest for the affected plan period or ticket.

Shop Indemnity

The shop is responsible for the accuracy and legality of information it submits, its fitment and buying decisions, its customer communications, and its use of supplier results. The shop agrees to defend and hold PartsQuest harmless from claims arising from shop-provided information, unauthorized account use, misuse of result packets, customer disputes, repair decisions, fitment decisions, ordering decisions, or violation of these terms.

Governing Law, Venue, And Changes

Oregon law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue lies in the state courts of Clackamas County, Oregon, or the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, as applicable. PartsQuest may update these Terms by posting a revised version. Continued use after an update means the shop accepts the updated Terms.

Independence And Contact

PartsQuest, LLC is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by any OEM, dealer group, supplier, repair network, marketplace, or warranty provider unless expressly stated in writing. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@partsquest.org.
